Hockey team finishes second

The North Coast Hockey League Junior Pee Wee Team finished second at the San Jose Sharks’ Sharks and Parks Tournament, held at the Sept. 19 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose.

The Cougars fell 4-0 to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Athletic League. The team, with players ages 6-9, got solid play from Charlie Miller, Dimitri Weinstein, Indigo Kinzey, Patrick Ginna and Billy Ginna.

The 10-12 Bantam team finished third. The Cougars lost to the Hawes Hawks 3-2 in the semifinals. Pace Farbstein finished the tournament with five goals and two assists. Carson Murison, Zeb Miller and Liam Williams each scored three goals. Dante DiNapoli scored and had an assist. Matthew Williams also scored. Justin Pardini and Sam Louderback each had assists.
